Want to mount my european plate on without screws. I do not have the bracket but i will place it under my canadian plate on the lower grill. If you have a european plate please post it on here. I have a B6 but post anything you have and explain how you did it. I was thinking 3M double sided tape? Thanks :)

Try neodymium magnets to mount it. They're incredibly strong.

If you are leaving that cold sore of a oem front plate mount on your bumper, I would forgo the euro plate.

Oh cool, because it looks like an arrow- my car has a cross which I always thought was OEM, maybe the arrow was special order but I painted my tow hook BRIGHT RED. You know...for the track.

sorry, I hate tuesdays! I all seriousness, I screwed my frame in. I dont want to get rid of this car and if I get sick of my europlate, Ill change the color scheme or order a new one. I have probably 8 or 9 holes in my bumper from trying to mount it perfectly level and center. oops

isnt your canadian plate screwed in? you're talking about getting rid of it as if it's not necessary. If that is the case, then I would just replace the standard plate frame with the european one and you're set

Velcro, or double sided tape wont last the harsh conditions it is subject to. Make sure you wear a helmut if you do use velcro, cause that thing is gonna come through your windsheild like a chinese throwing star. Suck it up and mount it to the bumper the way they do it in Germany. Get the plate holder, and conform the plate to the bumper, and heat up the plastic frame, and do the same. You will use two of the original mounting holes from the factory plate frame, and you just need two more. Depending on which holes you use, you will have to pre-drill the bumper, cause you will hit two of the bumper supports.

    Double sided tape
Edit: to reply to the guy above me, if you clean ur bumper and remove wax in the area... the tape is strong enough. I had my lisence plates help on by double sided tape for over a year. And i drive like an animal.

just get the 3m heavy duty one, and clean the back of the plate and the bumper with rubbing alcohol.. or if u dont wanna use rubbing alcohol on ur bumper, use dish soap and water. i even sometimes put my ny plate on top of it with more double sided tape so cop dont bitch at me, that was usually chep double sided tape cause i ripped it off often.
