Recommendations on headlight protection? 3M Clear Bra or similar?

I'm planning to polish my headlights soon and I'd rather not have to do it again for a while, so I'm hoping I can apply some protection. Has anyone used anything to successfully prevent rock chips and UV degradation?

Wow, big difference between those two; WeatherTech (Lampgard) is 40 mil thick while Lamin-x is 20 mil thick. I guess I would go with the thicker WeatherTech for better protection, assuming it has no effect on light output.

I see Lamin-x also sells a narrow sheet to protect your rear bumper from cargo abuse. Wish I had known about that years ago.

Laminx has been around for years. They also sell 40mil rolls.

Lamin-X actually sells the pre-cut pieces that perfectly fit our headlights. I installed it on my new Depo headlights and worked perfectly. Will most likely change it every few years to keep them fresh.
