Some of the curb rash I had to deal with. The others I just sanded down and didn't need filler. Was worried about the balance being off after but so far haven't noticed anything. I did the rears and spare first then the fronts after a week.

Used JB WELD for the filler since that is what I found first. It's not too difficult to sand this stuff down. I used 100 grit to knock it down when dry then followed that with 400 and 800.

PRIMED then Painted. After priming the wheels, I got confused which wheel was which - so can't really say which wheel you are looking at. But everything was smooth after priming. If you still see gouges with the primer on, I'd redo the work. I used 800 grit to wet sand the primer b4 the paint and again, 800 grit to LIGHTLY wet sand the paint b4 the clear coat was applied.

I grew tired of that center rotor hub being rusty so I painted my fronts a satin black (was undecided with the satin or flat) - I like how they came out, though I still need to do a front brake job some time soon. Still need to paint the rear center hubs black.

A few final thoughts: I know my tires don't match - have to replace those front Pirellis.
Take your time with it!!!
When using JB Weld make sure you feather those edges - when you apply it wet don't have so much at the edge - try to feather it wet so you don't have to sand so much when it's dry.
Don't oversaturate with the clear coat - I did with the front tires and then it started to drip (I became impatient) - then I touched it with my finger n fudged it then tried to wipe it off while wet w/mineral spirits and fudged it some more - after it FINALLY dried -> more sanding, more spray paint and it came out good as new.
The prep is a bitch especially with 5 wheels but the painting was fun.
I luv my new wheels!
