Hey,
I'm looking to get a warranty on my Audi. I've searched the forum and got quotes from Fidelity and Endurance. The Endurance customer support and information was a better experience than Fidelity. Also, Endurance offered superior prices.
I'd like to know if people have Endurance and if they are happy w/the claims process, etc.
The cost:
Plan: XtraSupreme
Term: 60/100,000 miles
Total: 27xx
# of Payments: 18 (~136/month)
Deduct: $100
Down: 273
I've attached a link (mr-sk.com/img/Contract.pdf) to the service agreement. I'd really appreciate it if someone with more knowledge would take a look and let me know if this is a solid agreement; will it really fix the stuff that needs fixing and will they pay? Or will they argue that the items don't fall into the agreement. I'm concerned about:
- Chain tensioning / replacement
- AC unit
- Automatic transmission
Those are immediate that come to mind
The part that I'm really concerned about is this:
Our maximum limit of liability per covered component shall not exceed a total dollar amount as follows: Three Thousand Three Hundred ($3,300.00) in Engine claims; Two Thousand Two Hundred ($2,200.00) in Transmission claims; One Thousand Five Hundred ($1,500.00) in Differential claims; Two Thousand ($2,000.00) in Air Conditioning and Heating claims; One Thousand Two Hundred ($1,200.00) in Electrical and Luxury Electrical claims; One Thousand ($1,000.00) in Cooling System claims; One Thousand ($1,000.00) in Fuel System claims and Three Hundred ($300.00) in Emergency Roadside Assistance claims.
So, if I need a new transmission, which could be a 4k job (Guessing, someone please correct me), I'm limited to them paying 2.2K...ok, I mean that's better than nothing and would basically pay for the entire insurance policy. Still though...
Under engine it says:
b) Timing belt;
I wonder if that applies to a timing chain as well?
I'm going to generate a list of questions and call them on Monday.
