That 's what I'm waiting for! It needs to happen. I can't imagine a fwd auto tdi A3. I need at least Quattro and or manual.

We TDI's are all waiting for it. I think we will see the RS3 before that happens.
Wonder how much it would cost to make one?

Some of us are decent people who want to stay out of the emergency room, but still blast through neo-gridlock traffic in residential districts whenever we feel like it... For that we need Fine Machinery. - Hunter S. Thompson

likely no TDI quattro. TDI is Audi's 'green' car. quattro is not what most are looking for, plus, adding all that weight and driveline drag will just make it less green.

I was positive I saw an A3 TDI (no quattro badge) in Montreal when I was there on the weekend.

Is this a Canada only gem?

Would love to see Audi bring the high-output 2.0TDI they have in Europe, in Quattro form. 170HP, 258 lb-ft. Maybe unrealistic, but my optimism comes from the sales success of the TDI since its re-intro into North America. VW can have the econo-box 140HP FWD TDI. Audi can step it up.

Wrap that in the body of the A3 concept, and that's my car! Even with DSG, I'd take it. Bring it home with me. Pet it every night....
