    "ESP Fault! See Owner's Manual"

Driving back from the airport today after a 3-day trip and suddenly get this message on the driver's information display: "ESP Fault! See Driver's Manual". I was driving around 75MPH when it suddenly felt like the brakes were being applied for a split second (not by me)...and at the same time that message popped up on the screen. No other warning lights after that and the car is now driving normally.

NOTE: I do not have rear differential.

    Anyone ever experience this?

Yes. I did not experience the addition of other warning lights (i.e. ESP / ABS / Brakes)

Got a weird experience recently too when I got my new wheels installed. While the car was on the lift, guys from the shop started the engine and made the wheels turn fast and checked balancing, alignment etc. Back on the ground, the car threw me a bunch of warnings regarding ESP, ABS, brakes, TPMS, etc. No big deal, everything was working fine, the car had just been confused to ride "in the air" while wheels were being checked individually. I erased the codes and everything is normal (and works well!).
It could be that the S4 nannies are a little too quick to jump the guns!

I second the notion that she was mad you left her alone outside next to inferior models
