Thats what i'll be getting as a friend of mine works for a Falken distributor and i can get them for a great price. I am buying staggered Avant Garde M368's.

Was thinking of 215's in the front and 235's in the rear.....

Not too much of a stretch on my Continental Extreme Contact DWS's but they are holding up great and have overall great performance all year.

two things...first, regardless of what you might read on this forum, you might want to rethink running a staggered setup on a car w/ a mechanical center diff. secondly, why not just fit the tires the way they are supposed to fit? tire manufacturers tend to make available information regarding the size of wheel that a particular size of tire can accommodate, in addition to the abundance of tire size calculators that you can find on the net.

I would go with a 225/35 up front, 235/35 for the rear.
I had that before and was fine running staggered. Plus I had way lower offsets.

I'm currently running 215/35 on a 19/8.5" right now, and it's still no problems. Just not as soft/comfortable as say a larger tire would be.

Ran Hankook V12's before and those were great tires, just not as nice of a stretch.
I now have Falken 452's, louder tire but stretches very easily and looks great!

I am going to be running 215/35 on a 9.5 all around. 235's on a 9.5 is barely any stretch at all. As long as you keep the tires aired up to spec at all times you shouldn't have a problem.

This should help you a bit.

you have to run staggered setups that maintain the circumference of the fronts the same or +/- 0.5% difference only.

I would suggest you use this: http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

something like 225/40 and 255/35 would work...

Wrong. 5%, not 0.5%. There are plenty of guys on here running way heavy stretch on 35's.

I'm on Avant Garde M310's 19x8.5" et35 with 235/35/19 and 19x9.5" et40 with 265/30/19 hankook Ventus v12 tires, and I love them. No stretch really but I kind of like more of a muscle kind of look vs the stretch look that everyone else is going with. I'm not that low either so stretch wouldn't look as good as if I were slammed.

I've read on tyre manufacturers' sites that a 225 is designed for up to a 9" rim & a 215 is up to an 8.5.

I had no problems running 225/35/19 front on an 8.5 and 235/35/19 on a 9.5 at the rear. I'm now running 215/35s on 9x19s all round.

go with a 215 front if you want a stretched look.. i regret going with the 225 up front..not much of a stretch at all.

this is correct. my hankook ventus v12 225/35's actually show the widest tire they're recommended for are a 9" wide wheel.. which is what i run:

Thanks for all the info guys. Not sure what i am going with yet - but likely the 2 scenarios:

If i get the staggered Avant Garde m368's i will be running 215 fronts and 235 rears. If i get the VMR V710's they are 8.5 all around so i will run 235's all around or 215's all around.

Still debating one wheel over the other, the AG's are gunmetal with machined face, the VMR's are all gunmetal. Not sure what will look better on ibis white.

Damn. :(. I was hoping I'd get to see the m368's on a b7. I almost ordered those. Went with the 310's instead. VMRs are always a safe choice though.
