Just curious to see what speeds you guys have reached. (On A Track ofcourse) I Think the car would be limited to 155, But is it even capable of getting close?

I venture, it all depends on the supporting mods. I'd think that my car could do a little better than my last highspeed run, now that I am lowered (less drag), inter-cooler, water/meth, cleaner air intake, TP, DP, etc...... I'll give it a go sometime in the next few months. Better brakes will also help......................

Limited to 135 seems right, I had a VW R32 that was limited to 135. For some reason i thought german car manufacturers (Audi, Mercedes, BMW, VW) limited to 155 from the factory. Maybe that is only in Europe.

Hey now I still have full interier & a full spare in the trunk...Lol.. maybe when I get to a dyno I can see what she will top out at (something else to look forward to)...... I actually picked up a bit more HP after fabricating a new TIP as my MAF readings are now more accurate and has helped out tremendously in how fast it spools and sooner in the RPM range. So now Mike from Vast is going to refine it some more.. Im hoping to max out the injectors soon with Vast's help!

Fastestes Ive ever gone, according to my speed-o-meter I was doing 135 but it's off by 4mph so 131. Did just over 130 (so 126) the other day and I could have pushed further.

I think that it is 130mph in USA, most cars are limited at that speed here, I believe the main reason is that they can get away with cheaper all season tires as they know only need to be H marked for speed limits 130mph.

In Europe cars are limited at 155mph, most of them atleast...

about to show off how little i know about cars... i thought speed was directly related to gearing (ignoring the electronic limiter of course)? so maxing 6th gear would be the same speed regardless of power? is the car just not able to pull after a certain time, or am i just totally wrong haha

    flame on

    EDIT: here's a link to a GTI bolt-ons going 180

The faster you're going, the more power is required. So while a stock car could go faster than 135 just by removing the electronic limiter, it won't be able to go as fast as a tuned car, even in the same gear.

The air gets thicker. When the bugatti gets to 200 its like driving through pudding the air is so thick. Which is why many cars unless 1000hp cant go 200 mph

Your right and not right.. At least I think.. Your right about the air and the bugatti, but the bugatti does 240~ so I don't think you need 1000hp to get to 200 mph, maybe around 800? Could be wrong though so don't take my word on that

The Koenigsegg CCR did a top speed of 241 which had around 816 hp. So around 800 works, but its also about weight.

maybe in our cars you'd need 800 hp to reach 200mph, but theres a few cars that have about half that that could reach 200.

A family member of mine has a Cayenne turbo S and that thing will go 200mph for sure, has 525hp.

And I'm pretty sure 911 turbos and Z06's will do 200 mph as well, stock.
