Is there a direct fit larger throttle body for the AEB 1.8T? Or does it require an adapter?

If you want to get the most of it, you should bore the IM opening to match.

Larger TB isn't really needed for FT power. Now if your looking to make over 450whp then maybe.

yeah there was a huge test on different TB and the power increase and such on a BAT setup, ill see if i can find it, but results for cars making under 300hp was very minimal like around 7-10whp, all need adapter plates i would also hone the inlet a little for a smoother transistion.

The other issue that you may run into is that you'll need to get your tune adjusted to run the new throttle body. Like Mike said, unless you're running a GT30 or larger it's probably not worth it for the gains.

That said, I'm looking at your sig and about the only thing that you don't have is a GT or larger turbo. Any reason that you're still running the FT?
