    Hey everyone,
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to and not to do when washing your car with a pressure washer? And also anyone have a clue on what is a good PSI to wash your car with?
    Thanks in advance!

The answer I read from link you posted that makes the most sense to me "Hand wash". I saw my brother almost cut in two some support posts on his front porch using a pressure washer - his lack of experience cost a LOT of money!

Hand wash is indeed the best option, but never the less i ordered a hot steam pressure washer that also includes the option to use soap mix. I guess as long as you don't use too much pressure and not too hot (less then 60° water) it should do the job.

use a foam cannon attachment (camspray or autogeeks) to get the foam to separate the dirt particles from the paint. then rinse it and handwash it with two separate buckets (each time you load up the mitt with soap first dump it in a bucket of clean water). after the wash dry with microfiber and put a sealant and then a layer of wax. this is the best way to reduce swirls and get your paint poppin

Hi, just make sure you use a car washing nozzle, otherwise you'll be stripping the poor thing bare! And spray from a distance, not fewer than 18 inches. Don’t just use a hose. Enough pressure will spray your paint off AND also don’t use the brushes as they will scratch your paint.
You may use 2400-3000 psi pressure washer and I’m sure it will work fine. I found excellent reviews about the best pressure washers selected on their characteristics at http://www.best-pressure-washer-revi...teristics.html , hope this will help you.

The Camspray works very well with a pressure washer to foam the soap at low pressure. As others have cited tho' I would be very careful using the pressure washer to rinse (have done so with care on Jeeps and the like, but not my primo rides) - better off doing so by hand and with a low velocity hose.

I washed my car yesterday with a pressure washer. Used a 25 degree nozzle. If you are careful, you can't go wrong. To be clear, I hosed my car down with the p.w., washed it by hand section by section, and then rinsed it off accordinly with the p.w. You can wash any car with a power washer, but use the weakest nozzle provided and know what you are doing. The older the car, the closer you can get with the powerwasher.
