Thanks, just hope it's worth it in the end.

Custom made intake (fits both S4 and RS4), waithing for some CNC love.

These have bigger overall inside diameter then the RS4.

    Stock RS4 intake mani
    @ head: 56mm x 27,5mm

    LOBA intake mani
    @ head: 59mm x 31mm
@ trumpets LOBA intake mani is 4mm bigger than stock
    this is inner diemeter...

He got the original rs4 manifold ported to match the 2.8 heads he got.
The loba im was still in development when he ported his heads.

I'm using LOBA mechanical cams! (they also sell hydraulic cams)

OEM RS4 Intake/Exhaust cams vs LOBA hydraulic Intake/Exhaust cams tested at MRC in London.

NOTE: Running 2PSI less with the LOBA cam installed, still making more power over the hole rpm range!

Am I the only one seeing 14% drivetrain loss, very interesting...

If i reach similar results with my cams, I'll more than happy !

As you know, cams dont have anything to do with the drivetrainlost. The car was tested on the same dyno the same day, before and after the LOBA cam installation :-)

I never liked engine numbers, give me the output on the wheel and people can use whatever drivetrain.

    Cheers!

    No you got that wrong...

was just sayiing that in America, we settled for a 25% average drivetrain loss. ( by comparing a bone stock 250 BHP 2.7 rated from Audi to outputting 190 WHP on a chassis dyno. Nothing scientific, just maths)

You guys actually have a tool in a MAHA dyno to calculate more accurately, I find results very interesting...

Second part, it's the first time I see a real comparaison about cams and their results on the V6

Weird thing is my buddie went on a Maha dyno and made 572hp at the crank and "only" 383whp with his T04 Audi S2 running 2.5bar ... That's almost 40% drivetrain loss , kinda crazy ....

MRC have a CARTEC dyno, not MAHA.
