    215/40/18 strickly summer tire??

    i need a summer tire that will allow a bit of stretch, i have 18x8.5 wheels, and i was looking at 215/40/18 falken fk 452's but i am unsure of any other brands that have this size in a strickly summer only tire.

    225's would be better I say. Little more traction and will fit fine, of course ET depending too.

    +1 on the kdw in 215-40-18 on a 8.5 inch wheel, a buddy of mine has the same set up on his b5. are you lowered at all? if not its going to look stupid.

    im on neuspeed race springs and bilstein struts, wheels are 18x8.5 et 44

    edit- i have heard that the kdw's dont stretch very well, something about a too stiff sidewall. but i could be wrong

    i got 18x8.5 v710's wrapped in kdw-2's 225/40 and they ride fine for me. im also witting on KW V1's

    Quite the opposite. The tire will fit an 8.5 rim very nicely.
