Question Good Cheap Reliable Paint Shop In Portland?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good and cheap paint or body shop in Portland. I got a new DTM side to repair mine that had cracked, so I just need to get one painted. Let me know of any recommendations and details on how they were!

    Thanks in advance!

Si's Auto Body on NE 67th and Glisan is painting my sides and spoiler as we speak. I should be picking them up in the next few days and I will report back with the results. They have done work on 2 of my family members cars (both newer model 4runners) and we have had great results. Kraig is the owner and seems like a real stand up guy who cares about the results and longevity of his labor. Lots of positive feedback about them on Yelp too. http://www.yelp.com/biz/sis-auto-body-portland

Another option (I don't know about cheap price--fair price yes, but reliable and top quality for sure) besides Shaun's recommendation is John/Bill at East Portland Auto Body; 503.253.6133. We trust them with all of our work (they also specialize in old muscle cars. Bill the owner has won numerous paint quality awards--some of their work has been to Barrett-Jackson, etc).

I always like to tell this story as it speaks of their work; we had them paint/install a set of TechArt side skirts on a black 997S. Once painted, it was apparent that even more prep work was needed on the LF skirt as enough wasn't done by TechArt before sending them out. Since Bill felt it was their job to have caught this initially, he painted it again for no charge!!

I think you'll be blown away by their service and quality Trent.

I am going to have to agree with Jeremy with recommending East Portland Auto Body on SE Stark.

Bill (Owner) and John (Son / Manager) have an extremely high level of focus for the details, making sure the work is done correctly the first time, and above most make sure that the customer is 100% happy with all the work. I just had my hood fixed due to a 18 wheeler backing up into me at less than 1mph and wasn't happy with all of the work the first time I picked it up. Bill and John were out of town when the work was being done. After I picked it up I wrote him an email expressing that I wasn't happy with all of the work (that one of his crew members did). He told me to come down and Bill ended up fixing all of the problems plus some other things for free and worked around my schedule. Top notch, not the cheapest place in town but you will get the correct job done the first time. A shop that truly cares about their customers.
