i guess it can go only one way cause the screws, one is larger than the other so it can only go arrow pointing towards the rear idk can anyone confirm this or is my car just screwy
anyway i just put the new one on and the idle is great, ill take it out in a little while to see how she does

btw i should have changed them washers, cause it looks like its going to drip, i can see condensation coming down from the washer

The filter arrow points to the rear. If you trace the fuel lines, you'll see that the line connected at the rear of the filter comes from the engine. As far as washers go, you should have received new ones. If you didn't get new ones, a trick is to flip the washers around in hopes that you create a different seal/groove on the washer. I've done that several times with success.

    a) you need to change those crush washers... you'll probably leak if you don't, you can try his^ flipping around thing, it might work enough until you order new ones
    b) it only fits one way, really can't fuck it up
