Has anybody rolled their fenders & what are the risks?

Hey, I recently had the H&R OE Sport Springs installed at AWE Tuning. I also decided to get H&R 15mm spacers for the front and H&R 20mm spacers for the back. I'm running the stock 19" wheels as seen below. The car looks amazing in this stance but any decent bumps or turns with bumps cause the wheels to hit the fenders. The damage to the tire from the fender is only some rubbing marks but nothing serious. Has anyone rolled their fenders and what are the possible risks? I've read that if you don't do it properly the fender paint will chip and that could lead way to rust and other things. If the fender is rolled properly is there anything else to worry about? Also if you live in eastern US within ~2 hours of Philadelphia do you know of any shops that will roll fenders?

Here are a few pictures of the setup:

I haven't rolled the fenders on my S4 since I haven't dropped it...and I don't know if I'm planning to either. However, I did put my old MkIV GTI on KW V2s with a pretty substantial drop and had to roll my fenders. The only thing I know you have to watch for is your paint cracking/flaking, which I've been told is easily avoid if you do things gradually and make sure you soften the paint with a heat gun. I have heard of someone burning their paint because they were careless with the heat gun though. The GTI is a 2002 and up until I had to have the fender replaced summer last year after getting tboned, I had no rust problems.

To ditto what pyknosis said, I was actually up at my tuners' shop yesterday, and he was rolling the fenders on another customers benz, and it had been freshly painted. I thought to myself wtf he is going to mess up the paint, bc admittedly, I dont know much about rolling fenders. But the tech told me with the proper technique, and the right amount of heat added from the gun, that there will be no problems at all with paint damage. So just make sure you do your homework and find someone who is credible at the art of rolling fenders.

+2. My fronts are rolled with no problems in 2.5 years. There's nothing to roll in the rears though... Those would need to be "pulled", which is extremely difficult to do properly and keep the lines looking natural. I think you'll either need thinner spacers, thinner tires, or both in order to get a rub free ride.

15mm spacers in the front, and 20mm in the back? thats too much if you are running the 255 stock tires on 8.5" et43. The easy fix....use 5mm front 10mm rear. or get some 235 rubber, so the rim stays put, but the tire clears.

I'm going to make a few calls later tomorrow and see if a few shops close to me will do it. I know the 15mm front and 20mm back seems to be too much but I still enjoy driving the car, I just watch out for bumps in the road and I don't have any issues. I didn't go with lower than 15mm spacers since there's no hub centric ring.. I didn't want to risk getting the vibration while driving. If I rolled the front fenders and lowered the rear spacers to 15mm I think I would be good to go. Has anyone done 5 or 10mm spacers on the front? I want the tires to be as flush with the fenders as possible. I don't plan on doing it myself since I'd most likely be paying for a touch up for chipping the fender.

BFI makes 5 and 10mm spacers with little beveled lips that fit in the chamfered edge of the wheel center bore. That keeps the wheels from vibrating.

I would roll mine if I was dropped on coilovers, but I wouldn't do it myself.

For your case, I think your spacers are just too big. Maybe put the 15mm in the back and buy a pair of 10mm for the front? Depending on how bad you rub, or if you hit some really big bumps to make the tire slam against the fender, I have seen paint get worn/chewed off the lip of the fender, so be careful. Won't happen right away, but if you let it rub for a few months...

I'm going to go the route of fender rolling. I drove a lot this morning all over big bumps and high curves. My car didn't rub at all since I'm driving it like an off-road jeep. I'll keep everyone updated. I'm willing to drive more carefully to keep this stance. At the worst I will roll fenders and move the 15s back and put 10s front.
