Thaks for the quick reply! I am not lowered so you just gave me some good news, I already have brand new Nitto's in that size... I just took delivery of a set of VMR V718's in gunmetal, very very nice wheels at that price point I must say. Thanks again.

yeah the 235-35-19's should work just fine on the VMR's. (just make sure the load rating is high enough) I am running 245-35-19's on my 19x8.5's with 41 offset. IIRC the VMR's are 37-38 offset.

I believe they are 35 offset? I am very pleased withy the quality and service I received from VMR.

Thanks for the info and keep the rubber side down...

Now if I can find someone local who has a used Milltek or AWE non res catback, life would be even better

I am lowered with 235/35/19 and no rubbing. You DO have to take out the small screw from the fenders though.

if youre not lowered, deff do 245/35/19 and put down some more time onto the pavement. extra tire will help fit the wheel to the tee and fill in a lil more of your fender.

I already have the rubber so I will be using them. Is there really that much of a difference between 245 and 235?

there is enough notice. Also, I thought that the VMR's are a +38 offset, which would make it safer for you to run a 245.

Old VMR wheels which started with the RS4 reps were ET38 on a 8.5. The newer styles (in the last couple years) are mostly ET35 on the 8.5.

I've been wrestling with putting the OEM S5 double 5 spoke wheels on my 2007 S4 (sedan). They are 19" x 8.5" and apparently have a 32mm offset. i keep getting mixed answers on whether they'll fit, w/o rubbing once i get a hubcentric ring to size down the center bore, and whether they will stick out past the fenders. my S4 is stock height. Hoping someone has done this before with OEM S5anyone have any idea if they'll fit w/o rubbing or making significant modifications, etc?

also - i was planning on getting 245/35 19" tires (all-season b/c i'm in Chicago) - maybe the Continental Extreme Contact DWS? any thoughts/recs on tires?

I've never upgraded wheels before, so i'm trying to learn all this (like i just learned about offset), so any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes they will fit with the hubcentric rings. wont stick out past the fenders. the smaller the ET number, the closer they are to the fender. So 32mm will stick out 3mm farther than the VMR RS4 reps which is going to fit easily

skip the all-season. just get dedicated snows and have them swapped in fall/spring. all of the all seasons suck in the snow compared to snow tires and with the DWS, they wear out enough after 1 year on the audi that they are half as good as they were last yer in the snow

    Thanks for tips.

Right now i have the stock 18 x 8 45mm offset. will i need anything else besides the hubcentric ring for these to fit?

And are 245/35's the way to go for this set up rather than 235/35s? just want to really make sure they fit.

As for tires, i don't really have anywhere to store a 2nd set of wheels at the moment. Are there any decent all seasons that don't wear down as fast? The DWS were the highest rated on TireRack - looked like Bridgestone Potenza RE960 Pole Positions got slightly less worse reviews, but were about $100 more per tire. Same with Michelin Pilots (even more expensive).

If you MUST get an a/s tire, then stick to the DWS. I had the RE960 and they were useless in the snow. I would hope the DWS are better.

Weather you get 235 is 245 is completely up to you. I personally like the 235's because they have an ever so slight stretch-if you can even call it that. the 245's make the tire look too chunky. But if you are in the city, then 245's might be a good idea so you have some extra cushion.

Not sure if you need anything besides the rings. Pretty sure audi stick to ball seat bolts on the B8 cars. if they did then you are good to go. If not, then you will need a set of conical lug bolts. Do some searching and you'll probably find the answer pretty easily

H&R is always a decent quality spacer. But you need to make sure the chamfer on the spacer and the hubcentric ring are the same, otherwise you will have issues.

Well without posting the springs you're on, or the wheels' offset, how can we answer that?
