you will need someone with the new vag-com to access all the modules in the b9. I tihnk right now jimmybones is the only one in the area who has the new one.

I recently purchased a 2011 Audi S4 Premium Plus with the MMI 3G High. I was hoping to get some settings unlocked, but I'm kinda new to VAG-COM/VCDS. Can anyone help me out?

For now, my biggest concern is getting the Video in Motion setting unlocked, and maybe some performance/convenience items (or maybe just the most popular ones that others have chosen)

I live in Fairfax, work in Arlington. Let me know if anyone would be willing to help me out (I can compensate for the using one of your VINs)

I've got a VIN limited HEX-V2. I'd ask to cover the cost of the VIN usage. I'm in Shirlington area and work in Laurel, MD so my range is pretty wide on a daily basis.

Define "Northern Virginia"...

I'm near Quantico (Stafford) - Willing to let you use my cable, but I do request that you figure out the instructions and also i prefer that you use your own computer - My only windows machine is somewhat cumbersome to use.

Also check and see if "Carista" app can do it - I have the OBDII dongle and it's significantly cheaper to use than the cable (since I lose a VIN every time it's used I typically ask for 20-40.00 to let somebody use it.)

Anyone free to lend a hand w/ vcds troubleshooting? Posted this in chatterbox:

May start a thread on this, but...Was messing around with hardwiring a dash cam and looks like I managed to screw up some systems (typical for me). I mistakenly pulled a fuse, while the car batter was connected, and now I've got a few errors I can't clear.

On ignition on, I get ESC fault and Sports Differential Fault messages. On engine start, I get Dynamic Steering fault. I can drive the car, but have no power steering. Neither Carista nor an overnight battery disconnect can clear the faults.

My hope is that these are hard faults with a loss of power and they can be fixed with VCDS. May need to perform a steering angle alignment and/or other things to enable these systems again.
