    Reset the Service Interval Display

The following has worked on the B6/B7 platforms (2002-2008) and may vary on models:

    1. With the car turned OFF, press and hold the SERVICE (Wrench) button as you turn the ignition to the ON position (do not start engine).
    2. While still holding the SERVICE button, press the RESET (0, 0) button.
    3. Your service interval indicator will now reset.

For the older model, B5 platforms (1998-2001), it's different as the gauge clusters do not have those buttons:

    1. Press in and hold both pegs on the gauge cluster (the trip reset and the clock adjuster) with the ignition OFF.
    2. Turn the ignition to the ON position while still holding both pegs in.
    3. Your service interval indicator will now reset.
