If you are willing to make a long haul to Ohio there is an awesome shop called Global Garage. He is a former Audi/VW tech and he left the dealership to go out on his own. He does maintenance and performance upgrades. The best part is that he is $60/hr flat rate. Below is his facebook page.

There are a couple in Milwaukee. Autobahn on 107th is Audi specific, O'Reily (not the parts store) and I know a guy who used to own Audi Specialists that does side work well and for cheap. PM me if interested in him as I am not sure how busy he is. Then in Green Bay, WI there is Beyond Redline; they specialize in DSMs but have expericence in Audis as well.

if you feel like driving down to chicago cpt is a very well known shop and they do great work but they are a bit pricey imo
the mechanic i go to is also around here, not a very big flashy shop, but the guy is very good at what he does, and his prices are very reasonable

Kelly-Moss Motorsorts in Madison WI. We race Porsche's in the American LeMans series and Patron GT3 cup, as well we have a great street shop that has built some damn fast EPL/ Tial B5S4's. The shop is very familiar with Audi's and is very competitively priced. whether it be engine building or general maintenance KMM can do it. 608-274-5054

Agree with the above posts, I'm a repeat customer of GRD in Villa Park too. Done multiple things to my A4 & they were always able to squeeze me in for appointments at the last minute so I could get the car ready for the track on time!

We sublet our alignments to just tires in plainfield. If you make the trip I will give it to you at cost. we have brought them dozens of lowered vehicles with no issues

Hmmm what place would anyone recommend for an alignment I was going to just take mine in to get the rear done but I need to know where to go before I get turned down a bunch. And traveling to Chicago area is not an issue
