Apparently not faster than my stock VR6...

Had consecutive runs with a 350z tonight, and beat him everytime from a stop and from a roll. My guess is that the guy just flat out can't drive....

And then a mid 90's mustand GT pulled up next to me at the light, he started revvin, so I reved back...and I beat him?! What the hell? I know my car isnt that fast, these kids need to learn how to drive...

But it sure was bad ass looking over at them knowing I came out ahead in my GTi....

They probably can't drive. 350z have decent power. With 280hp, it should be pretty quick. HOWEVER, every 350z that I have driven, isn't that fast. It jsut doesn' feel like a 280hp car for some reason. A 330i with performance package with 250hp feels ALOT fast than a 350z (just for comparison). So, I say try to find another to race for fun just to see.

Wow. I'm surprised you beat him, no disrespect to the VR6's power, but a 350Z should handle you no prob. I'm guessing its the driver. I've driven both a stock 350Z and G35c 6MT and they got some balls. I say tell your homie to practice his rowing skills and have another rematch.

Not surpising. 350Zs are good looking cars thats it, in stock form they are SLOW. Or at least they are not nearly as fast as they look like they should be.

0-60 is 5.9 on them. Not that quick, but still should have handled the GTI.

5.0 Mustangs were only 6.8 to 60. Most are modded by now, but traction can be a problem with those.

well as far as the mid 90's Mustang, those things were pretty weak in the mid 90's. I had a friend who had '94, and the GT had like 225hp. So if it was that older bodystyle (2 body styles ago), then you probably should have beaten him.

95GT Mustang 5.0 hd 215hp and was slow as s**t had one, sounded great, that was it.

1994-95 5.0 OHV 215HP @ 4200 285TRQ @ 3400

But dont under estimate the VR6, I've pulled on lots of cars I shouldnt of been able too.
