How many miles do you drive in a month?

Just wondering how many miles people drive per month, i did a quick rough calculation and it looks like I'm doing about 1,500.....counting work and school and rounding up. I think i might actually be doing more considering i drive various places all the time.

That means i'm tanking up like 5 or more times per month considering i get 300-330 to the tank...I know my wallet doesn't like it too much with the gas prices.

I'm about the same, roughly 1400 per month with a tank up at 280-300 miles

I've got two cars - my A4 and a Ford Expedition. I use the Expy for all the 'heavy lifting'.. house stuff, to and from hockey with all my smelly hockey shit and when it rains or is shitty out.

That said, I drive my Audi about 800 miles a month.

Hell yeah! That's the way to do it!! I don't drive that much though.. I try to split them even but it all depends on what I'm doing and weather and what not. I love my 99 Expedition with 196,400 miles on it.. the thing runs like new and is an absolute tank!

I am currently running at about 2,875 per month or about 35,000 per year. When I go to the office it is an 80 mile round trip. The rest of the time I am driving to and from sales meetings.

I know some people have a beater car that they put the miles on but I spend so much time in my car that I want to spend it in a car I love.

Not sure on total, but I imagine it is around 2000 a month, 1800 miles to work and back + any trips I make at the weekends/evenings. A long commute sucks.

14mi to and from work, 5 time a week.
So about 2170 miles a month. Or 26k miles per year.
But I've been driving a bit more than that, so probably closer to 27-28k miles per year is more accurate.

About 1500/month. Was getting right around 390-430 miles per tank. The last three fill ups I only got around 330 miles per tank. Need to take a look, to see whats up with the lower mpg.

Say what?? 14 miles one way commute for work = 28 a day, 140 a week, and that makes 7280 a year. How did you get 27k from there????

I drive my beater accord to work, 30 miles one way, 5 days a week. I put on about 18k a year on that car. I put about 100 miles on the a4 a month.
The accord just got rear ended last week though, so I am in need to pick out a new beater. WANT: g60 corrado, but my needs are probably going to push me toward another honda to keep it reliable, efficient, and not totally unbearable to drive.

I punch myself in the face for driving my V8 AWD jeep as my commuter, but I am just not willing to rack up 110 Miles/ DAY on my Audi....

The Audi gets almost 2x better gas mileage too

Pulling up to a construction site in a slammed audi on 19's at only 24 does not put out a good image for me though.... So not Audi driving to work, I'd rather people i work with not know i own it

I should be putting less miles on my car now that I work from home but somehow that has not happened. I think my weekend back-road drives make up for the lack of a commute.

Wow total fail on my math. I was at work and working on several issues at once, I was half here when typing haha.
So yes it's you are right. 28 daily, 5 x A week is 140. 140 x 52 is 7280. Thanks for clearing that up. So probably 10k mi a year total.

Hey bud saw your post from last year regarding how much you drive and had a quick question **** I too drive a lot with my job and was wondering how many miles you currently have on your b7 and if your turbo has blown ? Any. Major cost mechanical issues ?? Thanks !

I live on an island 2x3 miles in size. To and from work, I'm well under 5k/year.

That means i'm tanking up like 5 or more times per month considering i get 300-330 to the tank...I know my wallet doesn't like it too much with the gas prices.

now that im driving 4-500 miles a week, im actually noticing that when i dont drive like an ass im actually getting 480 a tank lol
