Are there ANY engine upgrades for 5.2 v10 in our S6's?

I bought my 2007 S6 this past January and simply love the car. It is solid in every aspect, I am really just surprised at how
quickly the "435hp effect " wore off and left me wanting something more than just a chip upgrade.
Does anybody know of any configuration that would allow for twin turbos. I like the idea that both audi and porsche employ.
I would love to make this a 600hp monster.
    My budget is $6000-$8000.

I'd get a 3.0" X-pipe catback, get the cats gutted from the stock headers, maybe add some HFC's downstream of the collectors and then JHM will tune it for you. They've done a few V10's so far and are looking to expand. I bet the full exhaust and tune will be 500+, if that's not enough last I heard they are also looking to adapt their V8 S4 blower kit to the V10's. Honestly twin turbos aren't gonna happen for $6-8k.

I live in Ohio, I am hoping to find a tuning shop that is closer to me or a combination of parts that can be installed be my local shop. The twin turbo is just me romanticizing, it would be nice, but I would settle for pretty much anything that delivered SUBSTANTIAL (100+) hp gains.

How far are you from Port Huron, MI? That's where JHM's fabrication shop is; they could do work there.

Google Maps says I am 4 1/2 hours away. Maybe that could work, I wonder how long it would take them to do the work (a couple of days???).
It is at least worth a call to them.
    Thanks.

I'll email JHM's software writer who's located in Detroit and see what he thinks and what costs would be/time availability.

The S4 kit is gonna probably be somewhere from $8k-9k since you need to move the AC lines, replace the stock coolant-oil oil cooler with a more traditional air-oil setup and install new injectors. I'd think an S6/S8 kit would possibly cost less if the stock injectors and HPFPs can handle the extra air.

Friend of mine has a 07 S6 and he had a custom exhaust done by the same guy that did mine (trexturk on here). there is definitely no room around that motor for anything. the turbos would have to be a rear mount and there is no room for anything near the engine. getting rid of the cars would be a huge help though. you would have to go caltess for there to be room for the charge piping to get back up in the engine bay. those cats are massive!! wish i took some pictures of the car underneath. the stock catback is actually very well designed compared to the ones on the b6/7 generation cars. tubing diameter is uniform and iirc, it is around 2.5". you could have trexturk build you a custom exhaust, but keep in mind that he does press bends and his bender limits him to 2.5". 3" is optimal.

the car suffers from carbon build up like the rs4. my buddy's car has 50k on it and it miss-fires like crazy because he needs to get his car de-carbonized. I might do it and make a DIY for y'alls. the carbon chokes the car a lot. my car pulls on it.

an APR (or JHM) tune wakes the car up a lot from what i hear. the motor does not seem to pull once you get past 5k and i have heard that with the tune it pulls all the way to redline. Another thing that the S6 could benefit from is something to make the pre-historic transmission shift faster. it seems like it takes forever for the thing to shift...especially the 1-2 shift

how ironic! I just got a check engine light, took it in. Carbon build up, diverter valve clogged. gonna get it all cleaned, hopefully it will make a difference.
