S5 owners: Average miles per tank of gas?

Im curious to what most people are getting on average per fill up. I am usually around 250 miles with half my driving on the highway/freeway vs city. Also I like to open it up to 7k rpm through a few shifts at least once per trip once the car is warm.
I also have a GIAC tune

Are you sure? I'm pretty positive that mine gives both realtime and average.

180ish. I can get 225 sometimes if I drive like a castrated grandpa. :). Seriously though. Im on my second s5 and I really thought they would give us something more than a sippy cup for the gas tank.

Hahaha, I'll work on that however I am pretty sure all the drivers at 740am and 310pm already curse me as it is :)

Ya, everytime I fill up is says ~315 miles but I never get that many out of a tank

Just got back from a trip. I kept the speedometer between 90-100 mph on the highway and I ended up going 335 miles on a single tank!

~150 on my last tank. I commute in the city and have a lead foot. Damn, I really need to cut back on the fuel usage. Hahaha

some of you guys are seriously getting <10mpg? are you redlining in the city or towing a trailer? i don't see how that is possible for so many drivers

I know, yesterday I got 70 miles on half a tank. From my anectodal observations, the delta between real city and highway driving is huge. I probably am getting less than 10 in slow traffic and in city.

On my instantaneous mpg display I have seen 1.9 when I floored it... but flooring a 6L pushrodis a different deal. lol.

ALso 16.6 gal tank should be giving you abt 260 in city.

I gotta imagine those with sticks are pushing the rmps higher and thus using more gas. My S just flipped 1,000 miles and so far almost every one has been balls to wall redline most of my shifts. Just too much fun regardless of the gas consumption.
