    2011 A4 - Adding Driver's Seat Key memory?

    Hi Guys,

I have a 2009 B8 A4 with the Premium Plus package that I've just sold. I love the memory seats, as my wife and I are in and out of the drivers seat all the time.

I noticed that, for 2011, the B8 A4 does not have memory seats unless you go all the way to the Prestige package, which I don't want to do.

I realize that the 2011+ Premium Plus won't have the driver's memory buttons, but does it have the ability (or can I use my VAGCOM?) to enable the Key memory, so my key will move the seat/mirrors to my last position, etc, as my 2009 currently does?

    Thanks guys!!

I believe you can set it up to the keys, I am trying this next weekend.

Thanks: This site here makes it seem possible, at least on the A5's, so I'd think it's possible on the B8 A4's. Please let us know what you do and if it works!

it only works on the A5 because it has a memory module built in so that passengers can get in the back and then the seat will return back to its previous position

IIRC you need to have access to module 36, which does not come in every P- or MY 10+on P+. Only A5 & Prestige have this...

So there may not be a module 36 on MY 10+ ?

Can anyone with a Premium + tell me if they have a mdule 36?

Hmmm, I thought the module was there and it just required activation.

I wonder if I can buy the physical part on Kufatec since that seems like the stuff they would sell

Do a VAG scan and you'll know if you have it or not!

We went through this about a year ago... It is a no-go.
You only get the module if your car comes with memory seats...
You can enable the key-memory on A5s because of the reason dracolnyte stated.

I believe someone retrofitted memory seats a while ago. It involved rewiring each seat motor and rewiring the control module...
