    Rough Idle with Maestro Log

Alright, so it seemed my plugs were fouled so I picked up a set of new spark plugs. I can't seem to get a good afr or idle currently. I had codes for misfires with previous plugs ( covered in oil from my effed up PVC system ) thus I picked up a new set of plugs and she fired up with no missfires but a god awful idle.

Should I just take away a bunch of fuel for at idle using Maestro? I already did a throttle body adaption and it didn't do nothing.

You're lean at idle. Very lean! Lambda at idle should be 1.0. You're at 1.5 (AFR of 22) even with O2 correction maxed out at 20%.

Are you sure you have the right MAF curve? Injector constant?

Your idle is also extremely low. Details on your setup please?

I can't really help you much because you're not using a MAF and I'm not at all familiar with tuning MAFless.

.....however, if you're THAT lean at idle I would tend to think your Battery Voltage Compensation isn't right,, or your Injector Constant, or there is something wrong with your actual fuel system.

Post up your IC and BVC tables when you get a chance.

for the moment if you just want to get the problem band-aided......increase your maximum positive correction value. This should allow the ECU to add more than 20%

Hmm... Totally forgot about something. I just bought a new laptop as my previous one died. I don't have my newest .tapp file anymore. Is there anyway I can retrieve it off of my ECU on my car.

Good info on fueling, much info by MmmBoost who has helped me a lot

    Calculate Injector Constant

Injector Constant and Battery Voltage Compensation:
    http://www.eurodyne.ca/forum/viewtop...26&t=830#p1762
    http://www.nefariousmotorsports.com/....msg218#msg218

Use "Measuring Blocks" in EurodyneFlash, and load block 032 to see LTFT (Long Term Fuel Trims), do this after 20-30 mins driving and some minutes of idling. Then adjust according to the above posts and repeat.

No idea if you're able to retrieve an old tune. My guess is that you can just read the ECU again and send it in to Tapp and he might be able to sort you out, but its something that is probably going to need his help.

On that note of backups though, I was posting on the Eurodyne forum that I use Dropbox to store ALL of my tuning files and my logs so I have access to them everywhere. I'm feeling lazy, so I'm just going to copy and paste.

You could use Dropbox like I do. I store all of my logs and tunes on Dropbox so I can access them anywhere I want. You can share a link to your logs and tune files if you like fairly easily. All you need to do is create a shared folder, store your files in there and then you can create a link to the file that people can access. I <3 Dropbox!

If you're going to sign up though, I'd appreciate the referral..... http://db.tt/S3w4WpG

This gets even more odd. I went into Maestro 7 to attempt to open the base tune I had received (the updated one a few months later even) and it won't open on Maestro 7. It says this type of file is not supported.

So, I cant get into Maestro yet, since customer service for this program has gone completely downhill I cant edit my tune at all. Although, I just found out that my car is missing. I replaced the coils missing with an old set, problem still remained consistent.

Do you have access to Lemmiwinks?

You need to add some more fuel. You are waaaaaaay too lean at idle. You might not be able to get into your tune, but at least you can correct the problem in the mean time.
