    AWP in AWM car...advice

Ok so some of you may know that I blew my motor a couple days ago. After jacking it up a little and taking a look underneath I seen my block split above my oilpan on my driver side. On the passenger side it likes like a threw a rod. Got a PM last night on vortex about someone selling a AWP block, heads, internals, wiring harness, and a bunch of other shit (exact words lol). He said the heads are fine (I'd like to use my AWM ones since I have it built already unless there is damage to the head), internals need to be rebuilt (said it has bad rings but the block is fine and so is the crank).

He is selling it to me for $350 and I think its a great deal to pass up, will I run into any problem by putting this in my car? I did some research and I found the heads are the same but I'd have to use my valve cover. Anything else that I should have a head up on I know they are both a 06A block? I'm sure this has been covered before but I really couldn't find anything.

    TIA Fellas.

Well since they're both 06A you should be good using the block. I would reuse the AWM wiring harness though.

A friend of mine swapped in a VW 06A block and had to modify his A/C compressor mount bracket to work with the block.
