To be even cheaper, you can get some 2x4's and nail about 4 of them on top of each other with a 30 degree cut out of the front of it. Each one is about 4'' shorter than the one below, so you get kind of a stair case effect... It's what I use for all my oil changes.

Sorta like this... Hope it makes sense. lol

I have a set as well. Haven't really used them a great deal, as said, much easier than using a floor jack for quick inspections, etc.. I think they were $50 at Advance Auto last year.

If you think you're still going to be too low, then you could utilize the 2x4 method. In order to give yourself a gradual incline up the ramps.

I love rhino ramps. I don't really like crawling around under a car on jackstands, plus the ramps are much quicker.

Related question...I have Rhino ramps and about to do my first oil change. Will the angle of the car on the ramps keep the motor from completely draining? Don't want to leave a bunch of dirty oil in there due to the slope.

and yes, I love the ramps and have used them quite a bit. Very convenient, light and I feel that they're safe and solid.

    Thanks,

If younre concerned about the slope going from the front, put them behind the read wheels and reverse the car onto them. Opposite slope, more oil getting out of the oil pan.

On a side note relating to these, I have them and I love them. 50 bucks at auto zone. Makes getting the belly pan off and on a breeze plus they allow great amount of movement for you to work on the car. But like phil said be careful once you go low. You can fix that with a 2x6 to make a more angled slope. Plus if u have more than one car p, why not? I guarantee spent 50 dollars on stupider things.

As other have said, a great product, I've certainly got my money's worth out of my pair. If you are very low, however, you may have issues.

If you have enough speed, anything is possible. :)
Expenses in F1 have gone down since the 1960s because teams don't need an extra pit crew to help the driver carry around his balls when he is not in the car.

There is a ramp system out there designed to get all 4 wheels on the ramps, I never quite understood how the car did it.... my guess is the front wheels were on & they jacked the rear end up and stuck the rear ramps under as jack stands

Is the height too tall to fit under the car in front of the rear tires? I don't have these ramps, so I have nothing to picture how tall they are...

I have them too and like everybody said they are great. But I am too low so I need to stick a 2x4 in front of them to get on. The Amazon price is decent but if you shop around you can usually find them on sale locally. I think I got mine for around $30 or so too.

It's a big ramp system just like two very long ramps(made from a few pieces). Drive the car up and then remove the center pieces leaving only the pieces under the wheels. I saw that while shopping for ramps. It's around $250. I forgot what is called.

I have a set of rhino and they're great, worth the money.

Bumping this.....how many are lowered and have very little clearance for oil changes? I just bought the 8000 blitz rhino ramps from advance auto and when going to test them out, i had to put bricks in front of my wheels to get on them, thats 1, and I noticed it gets a bit tight underneath anyway lol

im moderately lowered (around 25'' ftg) and when i go up on these ramps the bumper scrapes a little on the bottom going up and down them but its not impossible and its nothing that makes me go out and get 2x4's to help the situation....i can imagine if i was lower tho i would have to get the wood out

Yes. I am lowered. Yes. I use them. Yes, I need to put a couple small 2x4's in front of them. I use them for anything you need to get under the car for. Oil changes, Diverter valve replacement. Even used them for a fuel filter change by backing onto them. They're great and the fact that I'm lowered doesn't negate the usefulness of them
