    B7 S4 lowered on 19's and H&R's..pics inside

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Just wanted to post a few pics of how my recently purchased B7 S4 looks with the 19in VMR's and H&R springs. A few quick pics from the side while i was in the garage today. I'll post a bunch of the car in the official B7 pics area soon..these included. I just did the springs in case anyone wants to know. Yea i know coil overs are better and i will eventually need shocks. I've lowered many cars before and have always had good luck and never abuse the car to expedite the shock blowing process. Car rides amazing...no problem with potholes at all and only minor minor rubbing on what seemed to be just the little "knob things" that are on the inside on the fenders that I removed. Zero problems since. I've read a lot of posts on how the car would look with this setup and not a lot of people take the time to post these pics so i thought i would. I love this setup...it was exactly what i wanted my driving setup to be for my B7. Soon some brake upgrades and some minor mods.Any ?'s feel free to ask.

specs on wheels and tire setup...looks really good. I have H&R sports and koni yellow shocks and I love the combination. My MKV GTI is dumped on H&R coilovers and the spring and shock combo is perfect on the S4 for me.

Anyone have a guess on how long those stock shocks will last with sport springs? Daily driving use so to speak.

Yeap.Perhaps the A4 suspension differs on your setup. Just barely a credit cards worth of space on this setup. I didn't want it to where it rubbed yet i wanted it as low as possible without having that issue.

It seems to me the s4 mirrors have a more polished look after 2005.5, mine are a duller finish as are the ones i see on B6's.

Love the setup, I may go down the same road this summer..

Been on these forums almost 4 years now and I've heard alot of people say the RS4 wheels are played out. To that I say: bullshit. This car looks fantastic. We've seen it before, yes, but it never gets old, IMO.

You're taking a chance with any other wheels. Whereas you know the RS4's are going to look good, any day, any time.

The rs4s really do look amazing. I have a set of reps coming to me this weekend. I do wish they made a version that fit our cars with as much concave as you see in alot of bmw fitments. Why can't we get wheels like that? Because of the brake clearance?

Wheel alignment yes. A must for any lowered vehicle. The only rubbing issue i had were the little rubber things on the inside of the wheel wells....taken care of now. None during fully locked turns...unless your picking up speed.....which u should be in a fully locked turn. LoL. Had a max of 4 people in the car thus far...2 of them big guys...6'4 over 250 each and there was some rubbing if your going too fast over dips and what not.
