Just got my tune from ..Speed Tuning USA...my experience

    What up guys.........
So Have been looking around to get a tune for the TT.
The last tune I had done was an APR about 7 years ago on my A4....loved it and noticed the performance right away.....thought WOW only $500 for this extra power!! yay
Now since my last tune was almost 7 years ago...I figured there had to be more options than the BIG 3 now a days.....WE know who they are.
Found a place in Maryland called Speed Tuning USA on google.
Read lots of favorable testimony from people on more than a few forums and decided to get in touch with them to get a feel for there company and what I was in for before and after the tune.
Talked to Oliver who seems to be "THE GUY"....He was more than easy to talk to and said bottom line....30hp and 75TQ........on par with the big 3.
There tunes ordered from the site are $250......wow thats half what I expected to pay.
As it turns out they auction there tunes on Ebay as well as sell from there site.
Found there listing on the Bay and read there feedback.....5 star 100% nearly a thousand positives......nice...very nice
Now I knew the site was selling the tune for $250....and the ebay starting bid was at $125...with a BIN of $150.
Both prices included return priority shipping.
So I thought about it...good forum reviews+nearly 1000 positive Feedbacks on Ebay+$125 initial bid = no brainier to me..press the bid button!!!
We have a winner!! auction ended at $125 with free usps priority back to me...I choose to pay additional for over night.
I sent the ecu out this Monday via usps...only $18 flatrate over night..sweet.
They received it at 11:30 yesterday...I know this because Oliver called me to ask me if I had any further questions.
I asked ...remove top speed limiter and raise rev limit plus the EXTRA POWER Please.......He said done and it would be in the mail sent overnight by 5pm.
Mr.mailman knocked on my door at lunchtime to deliver the ecu....
Ran out to the garage and 20 mins later.......I was back on the road.
Now I put nearly 300 miles with the chip today and all I can say is.........OMG....feels just like when I got the APR tune in the old A4.
However this time I thought.......WoW only $143 for this extra power!! and I saved $357...YAY.
Now there are those of you that will say....yea but its not a proven tune or you get what you pay for............
In my mind and butt dyno I received exactly what I felt from the APR tune....and that made my wallet or should I say debit card feel alot heavier lols

only things I also added were a Forge DV and K&N filter.
Planing on goin test pipe next....I believe that is supposed to be another decent boost in hp

If anyone else in interested in them here's there info (I am not affiliated with this company in anyway shape or form...just trying to help out you guys with another option!!)

Awesome... hope you enjoy every sec of it... Wait til you get the Down pipe, once you get that baby in you actually should be able to retune the car to work with the new hardware and get the most out of it. Being why the big 3 have diff programs and upgrades as you go adding more parts to your car. You should give your tuner a call and find out about that... other than that congrats

    Thanks for the congrats Dgonza4b7
I have 2 years to send the ecu back once for a free reprogram if it ever gets erased by a dealer or a discounted stage 2 upgrade which tunes for a DP/performance exhaust.

Was the addition of the DP as noticeable as I hear it is?
Here in FL many people run catless exhaust....cause there are no emissions tests here.

I have the DP and I run catless as well. I think I'm getting an additional 5-10 hp and a great sound.
What part of Palm Beach are you located.

so im guessing there's no dynos, no biggie, just curious what the whp. sounds like a deal regardless! im going away from the big three aswell... ran Revo, didnt like the tune so now im waiting until United Motorsports makes a file for my car so i can get some extra horses and get rid of the CEL from running a decatted exhaust

Sorry no dyno as of yet, cells' yes from the catless, can be fixed with the adapter and new back o23 sensor, but who cares,
I also run Mafless as well so engine light on all the time. I have the GIAC 93+ software and I have been running that for three years now so works fine for me.

Revival time! Do you remember (years ago now, I know) what you searched for on ebay? I've tried speedtuningusa, speedtuning, speed tuning, speed tuning Audi, and can't seem to find anything. Sorry for bringing this one back from the dead!
