Ok, I finally got enough of a break in the weather to snap some pictures of my new car. I wasn't able to find many pictures of this color combination or some of the options when I was shopping, so I wanted to get these out there for others.

I don't like to make excuses, but I do apologize that these photos aren't really up to the standard I'd like. The weather has been awful, and I had only a short window of time to get these while it wasn't raining (meaning I didn't have time to wash it, go to a nice setting, etc.). Also, I tried hard to get the white balance right so the colors would be as accurate as possible. Unfortunately, the sun was constantly coming out and then going behind clouds, so the lighting was changing with every frame. After a while I gave up. These colors don't really come through well in photos anyway, so maybe it's futile.

For the record, the exact specs of this car are:
    Model Year: 2011
    Model: 8F754Y S5 3.0 CABRIOLET AUTO S TRONIC QUATTRO
Exterior Color: 8APA DEEP SEA BLUE PEARL EFFECT/BLACK ROOF
    Interior Color: JZ TUSCAN BROWN
Options: 5MZ DECORATIVE INLAYS - STAINLESS STEEL TEXTURE
6W3 FRONT LICENSE PLATE - HOLDER
    7Y1 AUDI SIDE ASSIST
AMI IPOD CABLE FOR AUDI MUSIC INTERFACE - NO CHARGE
    PCC COMFORT PACKAGE
    PDU SPORTS REAR DIFFERENTIAL PACKAGE
    WPT PRESTIGE PACKAGE

The wheels shown in the picture are Hartmann wheels purchased from Achtuning, because the summer tires that came with it wouldn't be a good idea at this time of year. Also, there is a VentureShield clearbra on the front.

These are just a sample, the whole set is here: http://pix.seanh.com/Other/2011-Audi...15374765_i92js

I might. I never really post over there (I think I have an account, but I'm not even sure of that), but it would be cool to meet some more local folks.

Once the weather is more reliably decent, I'll probably do another photo shoot. I need it to be nice for a couple of weekend days (by the time I get off work this time of year it's dark) so I can get it cleaned up and stuff. And a day where the lighting is more consistent would be nice too. I could have done better today, but it was cold and I had a lot of other stuff to do, so I didn't take the time to grab another white balance beforee every shot (which is practically what was needed).

Yeah, I prefer a soft top, but it's definitely polarizing. I'm looking forward to summer when it won't be an issue ;)

Wow, you sold me on that color combo. NICE!!!

How do you like the comfort packages "neck vents"? Are they worth it? I live in S. Georgia and was curious because I would love to drive with the top down most days of the year (even when it rains?)

Can only answer this for myself, but yes! The neck heaters are really making you drive even more open than normal. It was +6 Celsius here last week and with some sun, and the neck heating on, it was great driving! :)))

Thanks for replying from Holland!! Just for the rest of those Stateside, +6 Celsius turns out to be 43 Farenheit.
What would you say is the lowest temp you've put the top down in Seattle, Sharding? and Holland, HAWKiss?

The neck vents are great, I agree, totally worth it. HOWEVER, the Comfort Package seats are different seats altogether than the standard seats. I happen to like them better, but a lot of people don't. I highly recommend trying both in person if there's any way you can, to see which you prefer.
