Bumper fitting: No problem except for the rubber air intake behind the driver side foglight. You'll see what I mean when you take everything apart. (Cut about an inch)
    Foglights: 100% compatible.
    Grill: S line
    Green text: Doesn't work either.

Did this conversion about a month ago with a DIY i found on this forum.

It's actually purple pffft and thank you for the feedback. idk why everyone keeps saying the foglights aren't compatible if they are. so its just going to be an inch cut off behind the driver side foglight and a new grill?

    Thanks again

The fog lights will fit, you need new fog light enclosures though.

Go with a DTM front bumper, it's not much more and it's also a direct fit. You could reuse your main grill and all you have to buy is the lower grills in place of the fog lights, headlight washer covers, and tow hook cover - all minor items.

Give her a break regarding the pink text, it's good to have some estrogen in this sausagefest ;)

I didn't know you could use pink text, haha.

I would go DTM. Keep the grille you have and sacrifice the fogs.

Sent you a PM. The one other detail is that you will need to trim the black plastic air vents that sit behind in the lower part of the bumper. These can be cut off with a dremel

DTM ends up costing much more, if you include the side skirts and rear bumper.

I did my s-line front bumper conversion last year, everything will fit. Here are the parts you will need for the swap:

    S-Line Bumper cover, PN: 8E0-807-105-J-GRU
    S-Line Grille, PN: 8E0-853-651-K-1RR
S-Line Grille Trim Plate, PN: 8E0-807-287-C-1RR
    S-Line Fog Cover/lower grill, Left, PN: 8E0-807-681-F-01C
    S-Line Fog Cover/lower grill, Right, PN: 8E0-807-682-F-01C

    Reusable parts:
    Fog Lights and Sidemarkers

Bumper cover and Grille+Trim Plate can be sourced from this forum or eBay. The Lower grille fog covers are a bit hard to find on secondary markets, so its best to buy new from sites like http://www.genuineaudiparts.com/ for $35 a piece. Good luck.

You will have to trim the air intake rubber thingy. Others can elaborate.

I only like the DTM front bumper if i put a splitter underneath and do the sideskirts and back bumper. It's just too expensive for right now. Since my bumpers torn and I have to replace it, I'd rather go with the sline bumper cause its not too much more then replacing it with the stock bumper. If i'm going to spend that much just to replace the stock mine as well pay a bit more and to the sline front.

is there a difference between the S-line cabriolet bumper vs. the S-line sedan bumper?

I picked up an s-line bumper from craigslist and having a tough time getting the thing to fit my non s-line a4.
havent really found my answer through search. looks like its from a cab though?

took a look at it and here are the part numbers:

    8E0-807-233 and 8E0-807-234 - bumper cover
    8E0-807-241C - tow slot
    8E0-853-651M - grille
    8#0-945-072B - right side marker

when I google these my results are euro as hell, and points to a convertible s-line front. any clue if the only modification I need to do is trim the black tubing behind the fog lights?

    Bumper = direct fit

    Fog lights can transfer

You'll need Fog grilles and front grill (either S-line or R/S4) and matching filler plate

If you have front washers, the painted pieces can transfer HOWEVER, you will need new jets from the S-line or S4

The ram air behind the fog grilles will not transfer. You can purchase new fitting ones, or leave open. It really doesn't seem to matter all that much

    Your side reflectors can transfer.

I did this conversion a couple of months back. The front bumper was purchased from Prestige Bumpers in Chicago. The fog grills and washer jets were purchased from GAP. I bought my front grille and filler plate from a member on these forums. All in all, maybe 500 bucks. I was patient and waited for deals and negotiations.

I park next to a b7 Cab everyday. From my gathering, it seems to be the exact same car from the A-pillar to the nose. You should be fine.

I cannot confirm this, however, since I've never done it. Anybody with experience, please chime in. I checked on GAP and the description for the Cab bumper doesn't include Cab anywhere, deducting that its the same part number as the sedan. It also seems to be the conclusion on a couple of other threads asking if DTM fits the 07+ cab.

Haha. I just called my dealership's parts department. I asked if they could look up the part number of the bumper I just picked up ( 8E0-802-233 ). They said "we cant tell you what its for, but just try it and see if it fits". Completely useless.

It will align, except you need the fog grills for the sline, move the fogs there. and ofcourse the s line or s4 grille depending on your preference.

however, those intake trims will have to be trimmer, or u could order new ones. they are cheap.

    everything is cheaper on genuineaudiparts.

the bumper i picked up was a complete bumper with fogs, grille, etc. ready to be screwed on to the front. I will go trim the intakes and see how it fits after.

i had been looking for an s-line bumper for a few months. i luckily found one on craigslist complete with fogs and grille w/plate holder, painted black...aka perfect.

BTW...trimming these intercooler intakes yesterday wouldnt have anything to do with my car overheating today for the first time ever, would it?

    edit. leaking coolant
