I hope it gets cold again and Vermont gets snow. Saturday (New Years day) felt like riding in late March (super slushy and ollieing every patch of dirt). Sunday many resorts closed a ton of trails due to lack of snow.

Have fun. I doubt I'm snowboarding again on the east coast until my Jay Peak trip at the end of the month.

I asked about some people starting on saturday and riding sunday, vs. some people riding fri + sat only, etc. She said there's no problem there. I'm just wondering if that means I'm going to have to specify which days.. for each ticket. I'll call tonight and get back to you, but at the worst.. I'll just have to write down everyones plans for use when i give the final order.

they must either give you a certain number of vouchers, that you can use at the ticket booth during the weekend, to swap for a pass

or they give you an actual lift ticket, where the first lifty you see punches a hole in it, or something

Tune = sharpen edges/wax, just like skis

but you can tune for certain things. Like, the small black board I usually de-tune (dull edges) in certain areas so that they dont catch when sliding across rails, etc

edit: it's the 159, pretty stiff. Joey how much do you weigh?

I need to know if anyone is NOT going to ride on Friday.

If you have a 1 day pass, and plan on riding Saturday, I need to know now

We still have the group rates. I've decided to just buy extra tickets and sell them off on Friday.

ITS WORTH NOTING:

• The last 2 weekends have been CRAZY packed. Of course, they were holiday weekends, but the weather for this weekend looks amazing so it COULD be packed again. Our hope should be that people ran out of Vacation time over the holidays Fridays are typically not nearly as packed as Sat/Sun are.

• We can't check into our place until 4. So, unless you plan on arriving at 4pm, or sitting in the lodge, you should probably just ski/ride on friday.

• It's easier for everyone if we all ride on Friday, including me, Jasmine (our awesome group sales rep), and the poor bastard at the ticket counter who would have to do-up all our tickets one-by-one if we decide to make it difficult for him, lol.


SO IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY TO SKI OR RIDE, SPEAK UP NOW (ASSHOLE!) lol

This could be great for those of you just beginning, who were gonna spend time on the bunny slope all day anyway. You can progress pretty quickly with a good instructor - and progression (not frustration) will help you have a great time!

There's some college-related event going on, and random things have college discounts, so if you still have a valid college ID, it's worth carrying it with you, just in case.

It's also fairly icy, but they've been making a lot of snow (unfortunately, as of yesterday, much of it wasn't groomed yet). From Monday to Tuesday they reopened a bunch of trails, and it snowed a bit yesterday, so hopefully the conditions will be better. Have fun yffs!
