I recently purchased a 2011 A4 Avant, having sold my 2008 GTI. As an active DIY person, I would like to find technical information on the Audi, specifically engine diagrams that show individual component location, system layouts and engine compartment information. I have been unable to find service manual or repair manual sources for this specific car, though Bentley lists a 2009 A4 (B8) repair manual available on DVD for use with their eBahn system. I expect there are some detail differences for each model year so I am hesitant to spend the money for the Bentley setup and I don't have an eBahn reader on my computer. Does anyone know of any other sources for service/technical information?
I am contemplating some DIY action including the installation of some type of air filtration apparatus on both of the PVC circuits as an attempt to mitigate the whole oil vapor/carbon build up problem. I have been reading and learning much from VW Vortex, but as the threads are primarily concerning VW installations of the engine, I am having a little difficulty with specifics.
