    Premium Plus or Prestige?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Looking at getting into a 2010 Q5 and I'm working with a car broker who suggested that I get the Premium Plus instead of the Prestige despite me wanting the options the Prestige offers.

Why would he be trying to steer me towards to the Premium Plus???

According to him the Prestige trim level is another $4k (agree), and the residual is 4-5 pts less, so the car is another $200/month for a lease.

I should have mentioned that he suggested I get the Premium Plus and load it with all the extras I want from the Prestige...

There are a lot of features you can't add like the Xenon headlamps, power tailgate etc. I guess it is really up to what you really want. But one thing I noticed and maybe someone can clear it up...in the descriptions of the trim levels on audiusa, the Prestige specifically states inflatable spare tire and the PP doesn't. The PP must have a spare but does it have something different? Is it a full size versus a deflated donut?

I can't imagine the the Premium + doesn't have a full size spare etc.

I spoke to someone at our local dealership and it sounds like the only things you absolutely cannot get on the Premium Plus (as opposed to the Prestige) are Audi advanced key, Audi side assist, thermo cupholder, Audi adaptive light. Anyone have anything to add to that list?

Power Tailgate and Xenon Plus with LED are standard on Premium Plus and Prestige Models. For 2011 there are Two Premium Plus models to get for the Q5. One is a 2.0T and one is a 3.2FSI. The 3.2's come with S line exterior.

Prestige model comes with Adaptive headlights, Parking System Plus with rearview camera, Navigation (3G) Audi Side assist, Bang and Olufsen and Thermo Cup holder.

The 2.0T Premium plus comes with 18" ten spoke wheels standard and the 3.2 comes with 19" wheels standard.

With Premium plus models Navigation is optional, Bang and Olufsen is optional, and if you have the 2.0T then the 19's are optional.

To me there are pros and cons of each one. Have to ask yourself do you want a 2.0T or a 3.2FSI with S line exterior.

Feel free to PM me with any questions you have and I can help you out.

This is Correct. And again if you have a 2.0T premium plus you can not get S line Packaging.

Also the spare tire is standard across the board.

The Prestige has inflatable spare tire because the B&O has an extra subwoofer were the spare is.
