    Abs fuse?

My abs is on with blinking brake light on. But this is not why I made the thread. I'm hearing about 2 abs fuses. Where is the other one located. I replaced the one on the driver side dash. Because it was blown. I just came back from military training and i am just trying to get sticker. Any help would be great. Thanks

What year is this car? Quattro? Trans? Engine?

The fuse for the logic side is fuse 7 on the side of the driver's dash. That's probably the one you replaced.

The fuse for the ABS pump motor is fuse 53 and it is behind the driver's knee bolster, near the relays. It is in the 8-way relay carrier, and is the large fuse hanging off the bottom right side.

Edited my above post with actual helpful info.

I'm not sure if the large under dash fuse would actually cause your symptoms. Seems like it might just be a bad ABS module. But certainly check all fuses first anyway.

Mine does the same thing, but all of my fuses are fine. The person I bought it from said it needed a wheel sensor, but I haven't looked into it yet. Mines a 99.5 quattro, 2.8, 5 speed.

The flashing abs is most likely a bad module. When a wheel speed sensor fails the abs light is on, but it doesnt flash and beep at you like with a module.

I think he meant his ABS light is a steady on, and the brake light flashes. At least that's what mine does.

hey do you think removing that fuse 53 for the abs module will help communication between scanner and ecu? can you provide a pic of fuse? thanks
