If you are looking for a budget setup look at the ST setups from AMI. These are galvanized KW V1's which are a great budget setup.

K-Sport makes straight crap for suspension. I have heard from many many who have owned a set.

Check the reviews for D2 Racing coilovers, they are essentially the same coilovers as Ksport with different valving and springs. B6Lovin has had them for a while and I know a few B7 people have them. I've never heard a complaints on our cars.

I'm thinkin I might be going with these.

Another question...they are the cheapest I've seen (not necessarily looking for cheapest tho) vmaxx coils..how do they compare to the rest. They are not dampening but are they worth the money I'd pay? They give a 2 year warranty and all the others I've seen give only a one year warranty. I just want to get something I'm not gonna regret buyin..with out spending 12-13-14 hundred dollars. Quality at a decent price I guess.

V-Craps are the bottom of the line. They are a disposable coilover.

The ST's are the cheapest decent setup out there now.

Personally, I would stay away from KSport. I had KSport coilovers on my 94 Ford Probe GT. 2 of the shocks started leaking a month after I got em. They rode like crap and the adjustability was just so-so. I'm not even sure if the springs were properly matched to the shocks. Felt very bouncey and adjusting the dampening didn't seem to help. Possibly because 2 of the shocks were blown.

Anyway, I'd never buy from them again.

lol he bumped the thread to say "k-sport all the way"
anyways I'm not to sure why you guys are bashing K-sports,
they go SUPER low, my wheels are hiding in my fenders and I still have like 2 inches of thread on the front and maybe .5 in the back to go lower.
I'm happy with the way they ride, they only problem I've had was 2 days after installing them I popped one, turns out I didn't install it properly and had the struts spun down to low, called up ksport and they sent me the strut free with warranty.
I would recommend them but that's just me. To each their own.

Correction...they are yellow zinc plated. Galvanized would be nice, but even more of a bitch to turn threads. Galvanizing is a coating, so it would be dipped, which in turn would make the threads a larger pitch then what they are. I deal with galvi bolts all day. I also own the ST's, which is why I know these things. Galvi def has better anti corrosive properties then the yellow zinc, but SS is better. KW's are like 400 more but are SS housing. KWV1 are the way to go.

STs do seem better built than the KSport. Then again, IMO anything would probably be better. But, really, save your $$$. Buy something worth buying like Vogtland or H&R or Tein Coilovers. Otherwise you'd be better off buying a spring/strut combo.

Tein SS and Ksport is the same at this point. Tein Basics are worse the Raceland Coilovers.

Ill be honest Ksport at the beginning when they had Version 1 stuff sucked. They fixed all their stuff. So all the version 2 stuff thats Silver coilovers, black springs, Black bodys and orange perch rings are good. Whats good about Ksports vs Vogland, Eibach, koni, H&R is cause you can preload the springs and lower the body of the shock (this means it will ride way better on full soft, be low & comfortable yet not kill fenders or fender liners)

Hell I can get Ksports coilovers for $870 Shipped brand new.

Stasis definitely at the top of that list! But, man do you pay top dollar...

Buddy of mine has Tein SS coilovers on his Eclipse GS-X and it rides smooth as butter.
