Can't seem to find any info in my 5-10 min search, so here goes...

Looking at a set of winter rims & tires from a TT, for my S4.

I need to know what years had which pattern/offset, I've seen reference to 5x100 & 5x112.

    I see there's MK1 & MK2 TT's, but what are the differences...?

    TIA

MkI = 5x100 bolt pattern, MkII = 5x112 bolt pattern but high ET52 offset, both have a 57.1mm centerbore.

What are the years for the different MK's...?

The owner of the wheels says they'll fit 2005-2010 TT's...

    Mk1 TT's are the bubbly versions 2000-05
Mk2 TT's are the more streamlined versions 2006+

You can use wheels from the new TT, but you'll need spacers, since the offsets aren't appropriate for a direct fit.

05-10 would be MkII, MkI is 99-04. You might be able to fit them with a set of spacers, keep in mind the OEM MkII Wheels are typically 9.0" wide with ET52 and so without spacers would have 20mm less clearance on the inside and extend by 7mm on the outside, this leaves only about 8mm more to push them out before you start to worry about rubbing on the outside.

Cheers Skyler & Mike. He just confirmed he has "the new style" 2008 TT & that the tires are 1 season use only...

They're aftermarket, so I'll check the inside for markings to indicate actual specs of the wheels...

Going to look at them @ 6pm. I think I can get them for $850 (rims & tires)...!

My guess is that if they're aftermarket they are likely 8.0" wide with an ET45 or ET35 offset. Be careful as wheels that have a lip like that may not have enough brake caliper clearance, do a test fit before purchasing.

    Will do... Thx again..!

I think he mentioned ET50, but was unsure of it himself. It'll be stamped on the back of the spokes no doubt.

Will provide more info before buying, unless the specs seem within reasonable tolerances* to warrant immediate purchase.

    * - ie: ET45 or less, with a width of 8"-8.5"...

Don't know if it matters, but the tires are 245/40/18 Blizzaks...

No..Mk1 is 2000-2006 in the US. 2007 was first year of mk2.

No. Mk2 began in 2007...Mk1 was 2000-2006 model year.

they cannot fit 2005-2010...2007-2010 is mk2. 2005-06 would be a mk1. bolt patterns are as above. mk1 offset anywhere between 32 and 35. my oem 2001s and 2002s were 35. i belive my OEM 2005s were 34.

Well, regardless... I bought them. The specs were all stamped on the inside as suspected...

    18x8, ET45, 5x112mm, hub-bore 73mm (to 57.1mm w/hubrings). They'll work fine...

The wheels came with hubrings attached. Well, 3 of them anyway. That's the only issue...

Other than that, the wheels and tires are nearly new (and have TPMS's installed)..! Blizzaks FTW..!

now all I need is a hub centric ring...

They fit. And I spun them (freely) while still in the air on the jack... No binding/grinding/chafing/etc...

I'm thinkin 5mm spacers for the fronts, and 8mm's for the rear. 10mm spacers in the rear might be pushing it...

That's if I dont swap the tires onto my stock Avus wheels, the guy I sold my bike to changes tires for a tire-shop (ie: on the cheap)...
