i've got a 2004 yamaha r1 w/ salvaged title up for grabs. it needs slight tlc for you gear heads easy fixes. i prefer a 600cc supersport over the 1000cc superbikes

damage is from the previous owner
the fairings:
the original owner had a low speed low slide, the sliders did their job and saved the bike. there are a couple light scrapes and scratches and a piece of fairing or two that are cracked.
- front fairing, cracked and broken off *see picture
- missing lower gas tank cover
- tiny rock dent in tank, hardly visible
- new tires are needed, currently equipped *see picture
rear: 200/50/17 dunlops front: 120/70/17 pirelli diablo corse
- it needs a new ignition coil for cylinder 3. the knocking noise is coming from the clutch, something is slightly rubbing against the clutch cover. once you pull in the lever to engage the clutch the noise goes away, i've already tried adjusting the clutch cable.
- there is a oil leak from where the clutch cover and crankcase meet, the gpsports guys said where the cover and crank meets is not flush. needs a new cover w/ gasket. thats why its leaking oil.
- could probably use a new ape cct, and a valve adjustment. oh and the right front turn signal doesn't work, bulb probably went out. all other electrical components are in working order. also have the 04-06 service manual in pdf form if you guys need it.
recommend you find a motorcycle trailer or pick up, because of the faulty ignition coil it'll start up fine and idle but may cut out when you attempt to ride it home.
