Has anyone had this happen before? I left my car outside in the rain last night and came to find it this morning with the hazard lights blinking and wont turn off. I noticed water came in thru the battery area so im guessing it got something wet. Heres a video of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQqBbcx2dpk let me know if you guys got any ideas otherwise ill just be waiting for it to dry out.

There's a couple of signals that get sent to the relay, crash and alarm data. I would scan the car and see if there's a code stored for it first.

Well then my IT guy suggests that you unplug the relay, wait ten seconds and plug it back in. Did you do a full scan of the central electrics?

If anything got wet that affected the hazards, it would probably be the central locking module. It's a fairly common issue. It's located in the passenger side trunk, behind the lining.

i did pull that out and squeezed some water out of the foam holder so it did get wet, what should i do disconnect it and try and dry it out? or will that lose memory?

your probably screwed if that got wet...i had the same thing happen, look around on e-bay for a new one.

could always try taking it apart and cleaning the circuit board with isopropyl alcohol (get 95% pure or greater otherwise there's water in it)

Well fixed the problem so far, it was the central locking pump. Took it apart and cleaned up the contacts that were all corroded popped it back in and no more hazards lol Thanks for the help Mholme
