    Fuckin exhaust hangers!

    In the midsection with the rubber exhaust hangers, how the hell are you suppose to get those off? Am i just being a pussy or is there a trick/tool for it? To further clarify what Im talking about, the rubber hangers that is aft of the resonator that holds the exhaust up.

    Can any1 give me some tips? I'd have my OBX (ebay) exhaust installed right now with pics/sound clips up by now :(

    err twisting and pulling doesn't really do the trick, ill deff look into that tool. Can any1 else 2nd that tool? Or any1 else that installed their own exhaust got any advice for me?

    i never seen my exhaust shop use that tool...I believe there are some screws that hold the hanger in place...

    Yes there are bolts, but he's talking about the actual rubber part that holds onto the metal part (it goes one into another [thats what she said]), if I am correct.

    I used a heat gun to heat the rubber a good amount and then with gloves on I man handled the hanger out. When the rubber get soft from the heat, it comes out much easier

    Dishwash soap works great. Just push the rubber so you can access as much of the metal hangar as possible, and load it up with the soap. With a little wrangling, they come right off. Same applies when putting them back on.

    yeaa i just got a diff angle on it and used some muscle :P and the review is positive :) ill post up some pics and maybe a sound clip or 2 today

    so now that you have it in front of you and have the system installed, What is with the comment their listing regarding not passing inspection and removing emissions equipment?
    Expenses in F1 have gone down since the 1960s because teams don't need an extra pit crew to help the driver carry around his balls when he is not in the car.

    no idea what they were talking about, was just simple a downpipe, to y pipe to 2 seperate small resonators to the mufflers. Nothing that would hinder emissions.
