I have tried to search everywhere, no luck.

What thread is on the EGT sensor?

I'm planning to put other EGT sensor on OEM manifold.

"You have to still use the factory EGT sensors or else the car will go into limp mode. You can use vagcom to display your temps. If you want to have a gauge that will display the EGT, one of those OBD2 ones that will give you an EGT reading, or you can drill a hole in your manifold, thread it and put an aftermarket one in. "

I have googled, but no luck. I could find any answer to my question from your link Vivid ? Or did you try to say to use google?

My EGT's are deleted. All this is familiar to me. Just want to know what is the thread size on manifold that I can find right plug and on the other side PLX EGT sensor.

At the moment it's not possible to me to unscrew one of the EGT's out and measure thread.

If your EGT's are deleted, why do you want to plug them? Just leave them in.

Yah I was just saying google it : ). You're best bet would be to take the sensor down to a hardware store and measure it. Most of them have device's in the bolt/tap section where you can get thread size, and pitch.

Not to thread jack OP, but what kind of effect does an EGT delete have on performance and fuel economy etc?? does the car run rich w/o EGT's? does it pass emissions tests? (in cali)

M.S4: Yes, that's one way to go. But I want to have EGT reading in my cabin and I already have PLX boost sensor and AFR on DM100 display.
Also my EGT sensors are quite new ones, so I can sell those with good price !

So I need one plug on the drivers side. Passenger side is where I want to put EGT sensor (easier to access). Problem is that sensor thread is 1/8" NPT.
Now I want to know what is OEM EGT thread?
    Choices:
    1. Buy reducer from OEM size to 1/8" NPT (Is it 1/4" to 1/8" NPT? )
    2. Make new 1/8" NPT thread and plug OEM thread on the manifold
    3. weld 1/8" NPT fitting on place of OEM

Best choice would be 1. Of course I can take oem EGT out and go to shop and measure thread. I Don't go details here why, but it would be so much easier to me knowing thread and buy right reducer.

I'm not good with measurements and stuff, but I have an EGT kicking around and it has 1/32" between each thread and is 3/8" wide (not including where the threads stick out a bit). The threading lasts about 1/4".

    Hopefully this can help?
