    *UPDATE* July 2011
    car as it sits now

    Hey there i'm Jeff from Edmonton. I'm on a couple other euro forums and just signed up here.

    A bit about myself and the car. i'm currently an installer going on 5 years now, 4 at Certified Radio. bought the A4 July 2009 and have loved it ever since *i'd like it more if it was Quattro*. This is my 12th vehicle and 1st euro and I can honestly say i'll never stray from euro cars every thing else just seems sub par.

    so far I only have an APR 91 tune and a Forge DV most of my money goes towards bills so what ever is left over I bank for the audi. right now i'm working on my system when I have spare time at work. all Focal except for the subwoofer.

    * I want it put it on some H&R cups but i am lacking the $2,000+ it will cost to get them installed with a skid plate *

    Pioneer Z3 head unit
    165 V30 all way round
    Solid 4
    Solid 1
    JL Audio 12w3HO

    any who enough talk time for some pics.

    Debadged yea!

    Got backed into in July... dumb bitch

    car that backed into me.
    *goes in Aug. $980 damage and the honda is paying for it yea!!*

    they actauly don't stick out any farther then factory, the rings i made fit snug against the door, not a prob ;) took a couple trys not going to lie. now to wire it, make a false floor, mount the amps and tune it... *sigh* its really not enjoyable doing to to your own car when you do it all day every day as a job.

    Hey can you get a couple good pics of your pioneer z3 head unit installed? I'd love to see how "oem" it looks and a couple diff angles would be awesome to see as well. Otherwise it looks really good man, good job.
    Selling Nogoro blue Alcantara door panels. Will fit b6/b7 a4/s4/rs4. In great condition, originally wanted $600 shipped but dropped price to $500 shipped. Check my classifieds for pictures. I want these gone, will include extra door clips if requested. PM me if you want pictures of them installed or anything else I want these gone so make me an offer and we'll talk.

    to me focal is by far the best quality sounding speaker i've herd. If I had depth in my doors I would have gone 165KRX2, thy are amazing! I have also had just the basic access 6 1/2 as well and they were decent. the beryllium series is EPIC lol but you need to take a loan out to buy them.

    since it is the long weekend and the shop is not open I went in and got the car all wired up

    also temporarily hooked the amps up and got the sub in

    I am very happy with the outcome, much louder then i was expecting.

    I don't work next weekend (so far) so i'll be able to work on my amp rack and get everything finished.

    You seem mechanically competent, install the kit (suspension) yourself and save a ton of money. How much does that box weigh and can you notice the difference in how the car drives/handles after adding it?

    This. What are you paying that its that much? Even with a skidplate, if you bought for instance a used set of GOOD coilovers for $800 (cough cough Sergio aka Checho) and with a $300-400 isntall, and a $250 skidplate, thats still under $2k.. For a cup kit, you can find one for easily $400, bringing the whole cost to under $1k even with a skidplate, which almost no one with a cup kit or even coilovers runs on here

    that was becasue the place i was ordering it from orders it from another company and that said company jacks the price up so they can make money on it. so im going to just buy it online, i didn't know that till after i had posted it. so price is much better now close to 1,000 installed. im going to check it out once i have the parts in hand because i might just be able to do it myself. I just never have done suspension work myself so im a little wearry on it. but we'll see once the time comes. thanks for the info though.

    as for quattro... I bought a car the year before and it was a lemon took a HUGE loss on trade and the amount I had left over i couldn't afford the extra 7g or so for a quattro it just brought my payents up too much. but Im very happy with it :) just sucks starting off some times on ice but its all good.

    and the box

    H = 15.25in
    W = 32.25in
    D1 = 13.5in
    D2 = 7.5in

    now you don't need to (but knowing audizine will) tell me how shity and cheap these wheels are and blah blah blah but I don't care. I had enough saved up I could have bought a new set of BBS LM but then I couldn't have got the intake, test pipe, full exhaust and lower it as well. these look great in person and its also going to look great once it's lowered and they are on.

    Tires i went with 235/40/18 BFG g-Force t/a kdw

    Wheels are Tenzo R Meister matte black with a machined lip 18x8 42 offset.

    at least you went with a quality set of tires. and the wheels look good enough.

    i miss having a nice stereo setup. My old toyota 4 runner had a full audiobahn setup (ghetto, i know, but back about 10 years ago it was cool to me). 6.5" components up front, 5.25" components in the rear door, powered by a 500x4 watt amp. 2x15" subs in a custom bandpass box that was powered by a 1500 watt amp, capacitor and optima batteries. silly stuff. i'm pretty sure i did permanent damage to my eardrums driving around in that thing.

    In my is300 i had a Kenwood ddx 7015, Alpine type-r components in the cabin, and JL 12w3 in a custom (spare tire delete) sealed box in the trunk.

    the stock audi stereo just doesn't cut it for me... i'll need to change that soon. my is300 stereo stuff got jacked except for the 12w3, so i'm hoping to pair that with a nice amp, and drop it in the audi.

    Don't be ashamed. I've got 19x8.5 Tenzo R Type Mv2's. They are a great wheel for the money, and way lighter than a lot of other, more expensive, cast wheels. Your Tenzos weigh only .9lbs more than an 18x8 BBS LM, and cost a fraction of the price, and they look great!

    cancel your APR test pipe order and go with one from ebay or off of the classifieds and save yourself some dough....a lot of people rag on apr for being overpriced for many of their products however their test pipe takes the cake on ripping people off

    Any issues closing your deck lid once you blocked out that vent for your amps?
