40-43, depend on driving style, load(weight) My tire guy tells me that the tires are notoriously under inflated at most tire shops. I have witnessed first hand just how fast a set of rubber will wear if kept at 30-33psi. These are heavy cars, the extra pressure keeps the sidewalls of the tires more stable

I usually keep mine at 35, i think 40-45 sounds high even for the weight, obviously if ur loaded down you want to inflate more. I think at 40+ the tire will become hoppy

    35

At 37 ride was too harsh. 35 gives even wear of rubber, too. Even 34 is good (I start at 35).

All depends on the tire you are using, I currently have nitto nt555's on, they seem happy at 41, also given the weight of the car, it is exactly what Nitto recommends

40 up front and 42 in the rear per Audi specifications on the door and my mechanics recommendation as well.

my car had the tires changed though I think the spec on the door is set for 16" and my car now has 18" on them would that make a difference?
would unequal tire pressures cause the car to steer in a different direction? (I got my car aligned and my mechanic said everything is in 100% condition but when i leave the steering wheel it steers to the right

I havent had a chance to check the tire pressures though.

It does make a difference when moving between 16 and 18, check with a local tire shop on what they recommend, I run my 18's at 41
