Corbeau Racing seats in the S

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Have been thinking about getting some Corbeau seats for the car, I think I've decided on the CR1 model in black/grey microsuede. Anyone else have these seats or similar? Any extra hardware needed to mount them in the car?

I needed to pick up some grade 8 washers at Autozone but I love my fx1 pro. Great seat for the price and since it isn't neoprene, the fabric won't start to tear if you still plan on using it as a daily.

It was around a year ago and I lost the receipt, I'm gonna have to guess a little under $1k. Each seat was about $425

Am I the only one who thinks these seats look incredibly cheap?
They want you afraid of your neighbors, your community, your family, your ability to support yourself, terrorists, climate change, China, Russia, Covid. As long as you are afraid, and won't unite red or blue, they win.

I ordered my brackets, but these are the seats I'm getting from Corbeau in the black/grey August 1st. I couldn't have the light part of the seat where you sit, too much ass traffic and they will look dirty. I love the style of the CR1, but I also like the LG1 just as much in the B5.

    LG1 - Black/Grey Microsuede

And OP, 910 shipped is the best I found as well... I ordered the brackets through Excellerate Performance, he gives 10% off Corbeau products on his website, but he doesn't offer the free shipping so that deal for the two seats is still hard to beat. Also, GET the brackets ASAP, because when those go out of stock it takes 6-8 weeks for Corbeau to run some off.. I bought mine because right after Waterfest I'm ordering the seats. I didn't want 100 people asking to sit in them to try them out

If you saw them in person in the car, or sat in them you wouldn't think so for 455 a seat.

No, per seat. They arent' so cheap you want to buy 3 or 4, they just aren't as expensive as Sparco or Recaro, but if you saw their quality in person you wouldn't spend the extra cash on any other brand I bet.

haha whoops misread that. I had the leather TRS seats in my 65 mustang a few years ago. Those things were sick. May get them for the S.

I'm guessing his connect to the brackets in the rear seats. I have my Schroth Rallye harness do the same.

does not makes sense. it is a pain in a butt to use harness in the streets. with deep fixed seats it is hard (if possible at all) to use stock seatbelts. by attaching it to rear seat - there is no one can seat in the back then.
as far as i know, all 3 and 4-point harnesses are forbidden from most racing tracks (at least on east coast). and there is no way u can do 5-point without bar/cage. so it is all for show?

You don't have to use the harness if you don't want, since the stock seatbelt is still right there, and you can still tuck it away and have people sit in the back. I've been doing this for years in my old BMW and now the S4. It sure as hell is nice to have it for the spirited drives and trackdays, and Schroth 4 pt harnesses are still allowed on certain tracks with certain groups as long as they properly installed and have the ASM technology.

theres a bracket on the corbeau seats that you can bolt the stock seat belt to.

pretty easy install and easily one of the best mods i have done on my car. It makes driving effortless

how does that ASM works? i've been looking at their site, and they r talking about some extra piece in the harness. but from the pics i could not see anything different from regular 4-point.
