Does anyone have any photos of an A5 in Brilliant Black with VMR V710 wheels in hyper silver?

I'm looking to put my second set of tires on some rims rather than swapping them on and off the same rims and was considering the VMR's.

I'm not looking to spend a lot of money so any suggestions would help also.

    Thanks

Not Brilliant Black but they are nice wheels. Now these are the 19x9.5" wheels and not the 8.5" ones.

Check out Hartmann wheels at Auctuning. Best bargain wheels for the price and I think they are having a sale now

I'm thinking about getting those as well. I was just concerned they would look too small, but they look great on the white. What size tires?

Would be good if someone was looking for a winter set but just aren't big enough on the A/S5's. Are there any plans of VMR 20" options because that would truly be amazing and I'm sure all the owners of a B8 platform car would love that.

They look very nice, but 20s would look even better. IMO 19s just don't do it for the size of this car.

Thanks for the replies. Todd1010, your look great. It looks like you take good care of your car so you might not think my next question will sound stupid. Are they hard to clean? It looks like there are a lot of corners and with all the brake dust these pads make I'd thought I'd ask.

I agree 20" fit perfectly on this car but I travel to much with my car.

The wheels are not very hard to keep
clean and I was worried about the same thing but it's not a problem at all.

Did you lower your S5? Can you buy the 710's in chrome?

Def lowered....appears to be coilovers by how low the front is. And no, not offered in chrome. Hyper silver, matte black and gunmetal is it I believe.

You know your stuff - correct!

Also offered in a myriad of custom Powdercoated Finishes but chrome/polished is not currently an option unfortunately.

I think it really depends on the look you're trying to go for. I mean, I roll 20x11's daily driving and like the big "outta my way" presence the whole car has, but I use 19's on the track (because of the tires I want to run) and I think it gives the car a leaner more purposeful sporty appearance:

Appearance wise 20s definitely have a one up on 19s I think mostly everyone here will agree. 19s are definitely not a bad choice though they still look good, you have more rubber, and ride quality should be better than 20s depending on the tire setup you choose to run. Wheel size is really a practicality/performance vs appearance argument.

No but its adjustable, so its up to the owners taste.

    Mine are much closer in.

Fully adjustable like motivated said, but take note that it is the entire "pair assembly" that moves back and forth. I've been playing around with different positions and it's kind of tough because their tip stagger has never been perfect. When you get the "outer" tips nice and flush, the inner ones are actually well under the valance. When you have the "inner" once stuck out enough just to read the "AWE Tuning" emblem, the outer ones stick out as far as mine did in this pic. The balance is somewhere in between which is how I have it now, but I had this complaint with them since this exhaust came out (there's an old thread on it from years ago) which they never agreed with me on, yet pan forward to 2011 they now have an exhaust (Touring edition) that has individually adjustable tips.

Plus when they heat up I bet they stick out more. I ordered the BB sport and had them shorten the tips. That angle is crucial IMO and I will be bummed if it looks like my cats willie sticking out.
