is it at all possible to fit the A5 headlights on the A4 S-Line? im just curious as to what type of modifications, if any, would be required to make this happen.

I think the actual shape of the housings would prevent this. The A4 has a curve on the underside of it compared to the A5 that doesn't appear to have this. The DRL's on the A5 look cooler IMO. I would've liked to have tried this a long time ago.

Yes, the A5 light housing will not fit into the A4. It is a bit dif at the bottom of the light housing and the bottom of the opening in the front bumper - the A5 is straight & the A4 has a bump.

Wonder if this is why the LED patterns are diff. - did the led pattern come first then the bumper or the other way around?

I actually like the A4 DRLs better than the A5's...

The curve looks cooler to me...

A5 is cooler to me, I prefer how it follows the lines rather than making their own

Agree. While the A4 LED DRL's look mean, they do not really follow the lines of the car.

I have an A5 so I guess my answer would be bias. I also think the A5 LED's look nicer. The LED's themselves are bigger and thicker it seems. When I test drove an A4 and it parked next to an A5 it seemed brighter similar to those of the A6.

u could probably do it since its the same chassis but you would probably have to change the whole front end, bumper, grille, and who knows what else.
