Check with your SA on wether or not it will void your warranty. Some will void some will not. About the max HP, its somewhere around 350 whp, maybe some more. Havent heard of anyone actually testing the rods to see how much they can handle. All i know is that if you have an off the shelf stage 3 kit. APR, AWE, etc...you will only get their 93 oct file at the most. Running the 100 oct file with this set up will more then likely kill your rods. Both stage 3 kits roughly get about 315 whp.

I'd assume that they use the same engine internals for our cars as the 2.0T VW guys use. If you can't find the info here, I'd imagine that SOMEONE over at vwvortex has blown up a GTI or two and so you should be able to search over there also.
