because of the above posted are not really "big brake kit" should be "big caliper kits"

And yes my RS4 14.4" is the biggest you can fit under oem 18" avus wheels but you do need a 10mm spacers to clear the caliper

This is my next big thing. I might even do this before the JHM tune. The car screams for a big brake kit.

My ebrake is fully functional, the rear kit uses a larger rear disc and the OEM caliper with a extension bracket.

I prefer the Alcon to the ST kits, but have considered swapping out for the ST Trophy front/rear setup. I like the pedal feel of the Alcons more than any other kit I've driven, but that is just personal preference.

I'm a noob to these setups, whats major differences between the porsche cayenne calipers kits from JHM and ECS and those from alcon or stoptech. Another S4 guy has the ECS kit and told me not get it, but instead go with the stoptechs. We were at a light so he didn't get a chance to explain why he didn't like the kit.

Both JHM and ECS use the Porsche caliper the primary differences are the JHM kit uses their in house lightweight rotors, ECS uses some garbage I wouldn't put on if it was given to me for free. Alcon, Stoptech, Brembo (aftermarket) use their own caliper and discs.

Per JHM, their lightweight rotors are for light duty track (dragstrip) or daily driving. Alcon, ST, and Brembo will live up to repeated, back to back high speed to low speed stops.

Basically, if you need a BBK, you already know why. If you're just replacing OEMs and have to question whether or not you need a BBK, you don't need one.
