Pics of mk2 TT's and wheel specs

I'm finding it a little challenging looking for follow mk2 TT owners with aftermarket wheels instead of factory janks. I've been trying to get a better idea what certain sizes and offsets would look like. Preferrably 19's is what I'm looking for but open to 18's. I was surprised when I found the specs of the factory 18's specs were (18x9 et52). The offsets are a lot higher than I'm used to with my previous cars.

Thanks in advance guys and post away with the pics and or links.

19x9.5 et33 for the fronts, 19x10 et38 for the rears. running 245x35-19. very hot setup.

255s you run 19x9.5 et45 all round for a less agressive fit.

That is a set set up. I contacted someone at VMR and they said that set up is a BMW set up that's been redrilled and serious fender modifications.

I think the 20" customer ended up using 255-30-20's but I'm not 100% sure.

Wheels are RW3 Virtue that are 18x9.5 front and rear with staggered offsets and lips. Gloss Black Lips and Matte Black Centers. I don't know what the offsets are.

    sr_erick's

"With my H&R's I was getting some rubbing in the back over the bumps using 10.5mm spacers (also have 10.5mm spacers up front, no rubbing there). I have 19x9 RS4 7 bi-spoke wheels, which I believe have an offset of ET29. I'm using 255/35 tires. I have 5mm spacers in the rear now and no more rubbing."

those are 19x9....but they are not the ones off an rs4 et29....there is no way you can stick a 29 with 10mm spacer aka et19 running 255s. LOL on a TT. different bolt cicle than the rs4 too? 110 vs 112

    I say et52 with spacers 42 front, 47 rear on 255s

    19x9.5 et 45 on 255s is sweet.

I just copied and pasted what he wrote. I didn't believe his offsets either knowing how high offsets usually are for TT's.

I've been debating on getting a set of 19x8.5" et48 / 19x9.5" et48 and dropping it on some H&R springs. Then I can play with a 5mm spacer if need be. probably 245/35 up front and 255/35 for the rears, or go 255/35 all around. I was originally thinking of going with the Eibach Pro-kit springs instead (1"/0.8" drop) since technically this is the wifey's ride. haha

    What do you think?

Would anyone like to chime in on their opinions/advice on the setup I'm thinking of going with?
