What is the blackest black paint?

I'm doing a OEM RS4 widebody conversion on my brilliant black B5 S4 and want to paint the car a deeper blacker black during the process. My question is, what is the blackest black on the
market? Also, I've been reading a bit about a painting process called single stage, which is supposed to make the car look blacker. Does anyone have any experience with single stage
painting? Are single stage paint jobs tough to maintain?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

PPG Jet Black , is very black but to each his own

Single stage paint is very easy to polish / maintain (Black /Red / White are very often SS paint)

Single stage paint is often referred to as acrylic enamel paint and in my opinion does not shine like a two-stage paint. Paint correction however is much easier w/ single stage.

Take a look at some of the MB colors...I'm doing an E55 detail now...and the black is so deep!! Just awesome when its corrected properly!

Thanks guys. I decided on doing some color though. Gonna do midnight purple 2. It's a Nissan skyline r34 gtr color.

Very true^ I'd say bentley black is real dark as well.

If you really want it to shine I wouldn't go with single stage.
